Looking to get a Power FC L-Jetro (S13 SR20DET) repaired. Seems that the injector drivers or something have been damaged on it. Does anyone know of a company in the states or if Apex-i will service my ecu?
Thanks

gotta send it off to Apexi-USA, they will test it and if it needs repair they will send it off to Japan.
I wouldnt trust anyone else with repairing it.

call apexi, I did because a part on my board fried and he told me most repairs are 100 and worst case scenario you have to get a new board and its only 300

Have you tried plugging it up to another car to see if its the ecu?
I had a problem one time where the injectors intermittently kept missing and eventually completely failed. I tested my power fc on another car and injectors were fine. Ending up being the injector wire coming from the ecu to the injectors. They were corroded and broke off.

I swapped mine out for another good PFC and the car runs like a champ now. So im just going to try and send it off to be repaired hopefully.
Thanks for the help guys

Not that old... ECU was shipped to Apexi 03-14-2011
Update: ECU and commander is currently in Japan. I am still awaiting word from APEXi regarding the final cost but Keith @ Apexi mentioned it should be around 125-150 for the repairs including the $65 diagnostic fee
I could imagine the Tsunami had an effect on the wait time but its no biggie - they told me to expect about a month delay

Update: ECU should be arriving today - supposedly it went to Japan where it was inspected and all connections resoldered although they couldnt find any issues with it...
Cost me a total of $89 for diagnostic fee + return shipping we'll see what happens tonight
Well lets hope they fixed it, and it works like a champ!!

hope it works out for you. My PFC will not hold tunes for some odd reason. it was like not having the memory wire hooked to a radio. i never really figured it out. i put it on my friends red top and it still didnt hold tunes. If anyone in this thread knows what it could be please chime in. sorry for the thread jack lol

Ive had my car down without a battery for months and it still held the tune - sounds like an ECU problem
