Yes I searched and read posts for about 30mins on all the different offset questions/posts but can't find exactly what I'm looking for. Looking at a set of Watanabe's that are 15x6.5 +34 offset for my s13 coupe.

I found thru searching (yay) that the stock wheels are 15x6 +40.

So this means I should have no clearance problems w/ coilovers (right?), but they will sit inside the fenders pretty much in the same location as the stock wheels did? Or am I missing something here...if I want to pull the wheels out a little to make them fit more flush, am I looking at around a 10mm spacer?

Also, I'd love to find a set of Wat's in a better offset/width/diameter, but I don't see them floating around immensely in the 4 lug pattern.

Thanks.

The net result from 6" +40mm wheel to a 6.5" +34mm is

12.35mm (.486") closer to flush
.35mm closer to the strut

240 2nr, do you mind sharing the fomula on how you came up with those numbers? I understand backspacing, but when it comes to offset I get a little confused... :D

To make them actually flush, i'd say a 35mm spacer, not 10.
