What's up everyone. I was just wondering how much I should be paying for someone to put in my new clutch. I was asking because I don't want to get ripped off. THanks everyone.

hmm did you search? I believe I paid 100-150 for install, but they had to replace the throwout bearing and they supplied the clutch, so it came up to approximately $350 total? Call around and do a google search, I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.

do it yourself man. All you need is a 14mm wrench, a 17mm wrench, an 18mm deep socket, a 12mm socket, a 13mm socket, a 17mm deep socket (just in case), a ratchet to make use of the aforementioned sockets and some jackstands and a jack.

I have swapped 3 clutches in various 240's in the past three weeks, we now have it down to a science and can do the job in about 5 hours total (that is if we don't jack around the whole time :))

I was thinking about doing it myself but I have never done something like this before. Can you give me some instructions on how to do this. Thanks a lot for the replies.
