Where did you get your yashio factory sides? Also, in the first pic, is that a car ramp under the wheel? Who sells those low ramps?

i got the takata ramps from www.upgrademotoring.com in stock and ready to ship as of 9-15-03

ordered the Gram Lights as soon as they were released in Japan around May/June, but took 3 months to ship here

got the Yashio Factory sideskirts from Don @ Don Factory. He got them a long time ago form Takakaira and used them, then i bought it from him ;)

im putting Dunlop FM901's on it, but still waiting for the front wheels to come in, should be in this week

and this is all for a black S14. Friends from Gorgeous Garage and Don Factory helped me get the LSD installed in about 5 hours, but i have yet to test it....gotta go change the diff fluid now...

Don't waste your money on FM901s unless you're getting Dunlop Formula FM901 (i.e. J-/asian- spec tires)... the US ones are kinda weak. The Yoko AVS ES100s are better value... not to mention ever so slightly cheaper. (higher treadwear, better dry (and wet?) grip and cheaper!) ... just my recommendation. :)

those gram lights are soooo sweet, i'd kill for those rims. wish i was in your position, having a buncha parts ready to install...good luck with all that.

So you know for a fact that the export version of the tire is bad? They are made in the same factory aren't they? I know on my tires they have Made in Japan molded on them.

yah adey is correct
us spec is very different
i used a pair of japanese spec, wow much nicer
no its NOT the same.
i'd go w/ ES100s over FM901

also SUCKS how the 57s look. man the face isnt even sunk for a 9.5 +22. :( i definately wont be getting those wheels, i had considered it because the price was very inexpensive. but they still look ok but i would expect more sunk. the TE37 are far nicer as far as dish wise and its a lower offset on a thinner wheel (9" +22)

oh well.good luck to your project!

Cool stuff, so you did the LSD install yourself? or did they install and you watch?

What was the hardest part? I'm looking to do this myself soon, and am somewhat intimidated by the job. :(

Very sweet stuff. Those wheels are ok. And DANG i just got FM901 :( For the front, im sure they better than what i have right now

Dousan- wheels dont look so much sunken in the picture, but they are pretty sunk in, in real life....i thought Benson's TE37's werent taht much sunk in, in pictures, but when i saw them up close, holy damn! they were totally sunken in.....i just took bad angle shots ;)

sykychimp- Me and 2 other people installed the diff, take the oem one, ring gear, seals, the whole deal, etc.... Hardest part is just getting the diff off and putting it back into place...gets kinda tricky to maneuver around sway bar/exhaust...then i had my cousin break in the diff for me cause i was tired at the end of the day :(

I'll be the judge wheter i like the FM901's or not :p

wooot! Recaros came in today! :)

woah sweet if its more
id like to check them out in person one day ;)
looks pretty hot.
i still like them. but i like SUPER sunk but good size and offset! :)

oh wait. i think i was comparing your wheels with the pics i saw of the 17x9.5 +12

do you know what face1 and face2 are? is face 2 more sunk/no lip? or viseversa? ruf would know...oh ruffff..oh ruuuuuf..

all 17x9.5's and 16x8 are Face 2 regardless of Offset....

Doesn't matter. The dish is huge. And then you get the excuse to use big pink YF spacers.
