IIRC, You need a vac line to your BOV, and FPR. Everything else can be capped off unless you add things like a boost gauge.

my fpr already had a line running when i got it to the throttle body. i have a hks wastegate and an auto meter boost gauge. my intake pipe also has a nipple on it. and when i tried to cap or even run a line to the far left nipple on the throttle body it would idle terribly and stall out. but it sucks air in as if it wants to have a line to it. is that where my bov should be routed to? or what

wastegate and intake pipe go together. run bov, fpr, and boost gauge off of throttle body.

yeah s14 sr's don't have very clear diagrams, the oem one is out there but it's not going to be the same for external wastegate ect. i had a fun time figuring out vacuum lines lol.

Alright mang, I felt nice today so here's what I have...
Pic 1: I have a nipple on my hotpipe, it runs to the turbo wastegate. Turbo wastegate should always see intercooler piping pressure, not manifold pressure.

Pic 2: I tee'd off my fuel pressure regulator line to feed my boost gauge as well. This is right next the the TB.

Pic 3: Here's when I was tearing down to rebuild and had labeled some stuff under the TB. Two lines were plugged, the other two I was using for BOV/Boost sensor on my avcr.

And here's a closeup of that area

Mmmmmmk?

you shouldn't tee off your fpr man. and also, i have my wastegate hooked up to the line you have labeled bov and the bov hooked up to the one you have labeled sensor, when i hook up my boost gauge i'm going to tee it off the bov line.

Yeah, I know. Haha, that was from a couple years ago, I knew somebody would notice. It never gave me any issues but I understand why it's not a good idea and it's not like that anymore. I still wouldn't hook the wastegate to the manifold though...

Guys, you're forgetting one crucial vac line. The largest diameter line is for your IACV. It needs to be hooked up to the intercooler cold pipe. This enables your engine to idle. Without it, your engine stalls out and dies...

he has his hooked up in the picture. that's kind of an obvious line. i'm sure everyone has their lines hooked up differently a little bit.

I know this is an old thread but I have a Throttle Body with all of the vacuum line stuff machined off of the bottom. (Smog Exempt, cleaner look)
Does my BOV want to see Pre or Post TB Butterfly vacuum? I have a Synapse Synchronic BOV if that makes any diff.
Also, my RPM's flux from 700-1100rpm sometimes and then come to rest at 1000rpms. Thought was vacuum but can't figure it out....
