Cheap Floor Bar?

Ok so I don't know how or why, but I get the JC Whitney Catalog now and while I was looking for some winder washer LEDs, and my LED exhaust tip, I came across an interesting item...

Arospeed Floor Bar

Supposedly it bolts into any vehicle and is adjustable.

Looks very much like the Do-luck bar and much cheaper. A bar is a bar right?

were you looking into buying window washer and exhuast LEDs or just flipped through them? lol.

anyways, this thread is worthless w/o pics. but then again, its arospeed. i wonder how the fitment on that thing is? i remember someone hosting a do-luck ladder bar group buy and then selling knock-offs which didn't fit at all and everyone had to modify them or take a loss.

ack bad info son!

the rear ladder bar didnt fit USDM cars becuse japanese cars are different. YES different floor rails. if you've ever crawled under a japanese chassis you'd understand whyit doesnt fit.

buy the real Doluck RXB. it fits perfect in USDM cars. works w/ Cusco cage too! :) (yes i've seen it in person)

aerospeed..universal? PASS! the do luck is chassis specific! VERY important for suspension stuff imho. for the most part, most things are NOT interchangeable between chassis

dousan, so are you saying that the do-luck rear ladder bars dont fit USDM chasis? how about the front ladder bar and floor support bars? i was looking forward to getting those do-luck pieces but not if they dont fit.. :(

front fits (i have it)
rear doesnt (but i got mine to fit ;) )
floor support SHOULD fit but my friends who have it i don't think installed it yet..so dont know for sure

How did you get the rear to fit? I have a replica and would like to get it on the car while its up on jackstands. Any tips or pics would be nice :D

sam and i cut off a piece of the bar (passenger side), then drilled a hole
it is still not perfect

the bar is angled and doesnt look right still hahaha..looks pretty bad and ghetto but the bar did make a nice difference in chassis stiffness so its a-ok with me! :)

pics..i have none. but those who have seen it know it looks bad :p

but it does fit better on coupe then fastback. go figure. yes there is slight differences.

Its a rear cross bar, and chassis stiffening. I was thinking a bar is a bar is a bar... Hmm but you do have a point about chassis specific goodies made by do luck :D . Then I can put a huge Do-Luck Sticker on :rolleyes:


... and no I wasn't seriously looking for window washer leds, or exhaust tip leds. I was just making sarcastic snide remarks as to what most of the JC Whitney has to offer.

i have a couple of those arospeed bars here(i got them free from a local honda shop). i am going to test fit them next week. they look like they might fit but will need a hole or 2 drilled to fit.
