Ok, so let me start from the beginning to get all the info out there. I pulled my SR out of my old car that was running with no issues and swapped it into a better shell. I fixed everything that I saw issues with as we did the swap, but I'm having a weird issue with the cluster now...

When I'm driving, if I hit a small bump, the tach will drop out for a split second. If I hit a larger bump, the tach and speedo will both drop out for a split second and everything on the dash will act as though I shut the car down, meaning the seatbelt dinger will kick on, occasionally I'll even get a phantom wiper sweep. Also, occasionally when driving at WOT, I'll get above 4k and the tach and temp gauge will shoot up, but they return to normal as soon as I get out of the throttle.

I don't feel any issues with engine (ie. I don't feel any power loss when the drop outs occur). I've checked everything I can think of... Main powers seem solid, all grounds look good. I'm going to try swapping the cluster this weekend, can you guys think of anything else?

Check the harness over the front tires. Thats the only place I can think of that would impact both wipers and gauges.

Agreed, but that harness is intact. I think the wipers may be unrelated...

It wouldn't hurt to change clusters if you can find a cheap working one to swap, or just borrow a friends to see if it changes. As for the wipers i have no idea. Maybe the switch fell just enough to trigger them when you hit the bump, but didn't go down a full click? Shit gets loose in a 13+ year old chassis lol.

So, the issue is sorted. Apparently my car didn't like my main grounds... Ran a new ground to the chassis and all is better. Thanks for the help.
