Quick Distributor Help, Please!

Does anyone know if a distributor for a automatic '89 is any different than a distributor for a manual-equipped '89? I'm wondering because I need a new distributor for my project car, and I've located one from an automatic for a fair price.

The distributor should be the same regardless of the tranny.

But there were (2) different distributor configurations used in 89. There was the one made by Hitachi and the other made by Mitsubishi. Cap/Rotor are not interchangeable between the two. I would assume that either assembly (complete distributor) can be mounted to the same engine but not 100% sure.
