Hey guys, I checked the FAQ but didnt find what i needed, if anyones has a link show me, that would be cool too but anyways..............Im thinkin of gettin a 89-90 240sx bc they are cheaper and easier to find but i see that there is extra stuff i would need to do for a SR swap. LSAUTO(I plan on doing the swap there) said that its a extra $400 for the power steering but there said I also need something else, like a gauge. I forgot what they said. So what is there other think I would need to do a swap for a 89 that is differnt then a 91. Also, where can I get this product and how much. Well, Thanks for helping me out guys

Jesus, 400 dollars for P/S lines? I paid 40 dollars for both lines and a reservoir off 240sx.org classifieds. If you don't mind the look, you can use your old SOHC lines. I think HT has a how to on their site.
And your tach won't work. JDM, 91+ or MAD TYTE 5" Autometer.

They prob recommend a boost gauge for the install
Power steering lines from a 91+ work but KA24E lines need a lot of massaging if you can buy a 91 plus i am assuming you have no mechanical knowledge so you need to remember that some parts are difficult to find and you need to have a shop that knows how to fix it close by for when (not if) it breaks
Tach info in above post is also correct
P/S lines new from nissan are like 275 or so
as for prices look them up yourself hit the links page for company names since google must be too complicated for you
Big red button labled search at the top can answer all of your inane questions and then some

I dont understand why you need 91 up power steering lines. I did the RB20 swap into my 1990 and didnt buy any 91 up power steering lines. I used what I had and it works good. Maybe the RB20 and SR20 swaps are different when it comes to power steering....I dont know

look, you can use SOHC lines, you just need the DOHC reservoir. You can even use an S14 reservoir. The SOHC lines don't even need alot of 'massaging' just disconnect and pull them across the engine bay.

yes you can use the JDM cluster as long as it is the same as the cluster in the car (analog to analog, digital to digital) unless you get the subharness to swap it over
