How much? Cause i know a place that has a garret 57 trim turbo that flows equivalent to a gt3076 rebuilt with 6month warranty for 525!

Then buy it, and quit goofing around.
T4 flange is way overkill for your car, unless you're looking to make 550+ whp.

Is it overkill cause the opening is too big?...so for all the questions I'm still learning turbos, I know old school muscle cars like the back of my hand!

Do a google search on how turbo's work / read Maximum boost by Corky Bell
It's really to hard to explain over the forum hehe. T4 is the flange size. It's for big frame big hp turbos.

read some of the article its pretty bland and hard to read but i learned a bit but my tuner i found don't think its going to be a big issue and feels that the garret 57 trim will be a perfect turbo for my HP goals!

Which is what I said as well, a typical t3/t4...should make upper 300's without issue.
Trust me when I say, the best mod you can do with your car, is to educate yourself on how it works. Don't trust 'single sources'...go out and learn for yoursel.f

Hey thanks for the useful tips, thats what ive been trying to do especilly with sites like this is talk to bunches of peeps with first hand knowledge of how these things work! I just hope now that the car will still remain reliable with what im doing!

it depends on the motor and what you want to do with it. for a street car or drifting yes it's too big. for a drag car however it'll work but you will also need bigger cams (280/280). you size the hot side for the engine and then the cold size for what you want to do with it. a T4 on a 2.4 liter is to big. even on an rb26 (2.6 liter) is pushing it. typically T4's start at 3.0 liters and go from there. with something like that on even a 2.4 liter it wouldn't spool until way up in the rpm range. no usable power.

if your running a 2.0 liter - 2.4 liter i would suggest a t2 or t3. 50-57 cold side.
