95 240sx engine running problem.

KA24DE will not stay running unless i keep my foot on the gas pedal. As soon as i take my foot of the gas pedal the engine dies. Anyone have any ideas on what is causing this? Any help is appreciated.

I had the same issue when I swapped in a used ka24de, turned out to be a bad fuel injector. Whenever this type of thing happens you need to first check for compression, spark and fuel. 90% of the time one of those will be faulty.

have you checked the tps and maf?
is it throwing any codes?

If it sounds like its running fine while your foot is on the gas pedal, I would first check out the IAC...
