Ordered a power steering kit of these guys Tues the 18th Jan.
Its now 8 business days later and Ive tried calling, email and PM and they havent got back to me about when they are shipping the product.
Money has been taken from my cc account.
Anybody else had problems getting into contact with these guys? I understand that people get busy or something may be on back order, but I want communcation.

Yes actually I ordered a brake booster delete kit in November.. I barely got it about a week ago however, they are completely SWAMPED. Chase even contacted me personally and apologized.. some of the parts they use aren't made by them (caps, fittings) they order them from other vendors and if the vendors have items on back order that Chase Bays needs, then we're all basically SOL and stuck waiting. These guys are legit. If you cooperate with them and work with them you will get your items in a timely fashion. So don't hammer them with e-mails and voicemails because it just slows everything down even more.. All I can say is just be patient..
I actually ordered the same ps kit as well and I'm still waiting for it to be shipped.. one of the parts is on back order which is something they can't control.. and I understand that, I deal with that everyday at my job. Don't be a shitty customer and nag about your item, simply write an email and they'll get back to you when they can :)

I also ordered a PS kit a couple weeks ago. Finally got an email today explaining that they have been having trouble keeping an item in stock and that it should be out by next Wednesday at the latest. We'll see what happens.

Things happen especially when you are starting a new business, it gets overwhelming at some times so just wait it out and you will get your item.

Normally when I need something quick I try to order local to make sure it's here in a timely fashion.. but with something custom like this, and since it's so far away you gotta allow plenty of time to receive it :)

Got lines from them and installed..but They fell short when i try running them to the pass side of the car..

January 12th:
Ordered a Power Steering kit S13/KA/Yes.
Called a week later after no confirmation for shipping. Received a call back a couple days later to be told they were out of certain fittings, and apologized. Was told orders would be shipped within the following 4 days. Nothing.
January 28th:
Received an e-mail that read:
"Hey folks,
Just sending this email to keep you updated. Sorry about the delays on your S13/S14 Power Steering Kit. We can't seem to keep stock on one of the steering rack adapter fittings. The kits are selling quickly, which is great. We are told that we will have them TUESDAY, so at the latest expect your order to go out Wednesday. We will let you know if there any further delays. Thank you for your business. "
Still nothing.
February 7th:
Sent e-mail asking about the status of my order including order number and their confirmation message that they got my order.
February 9th:
Received tracking number for Fedex. Kit on the way!
February 12th:
Kit arrives, missing cooler. Came with reservoir and 3 lines, and a bag of 3 fittings. Gotta call and get my cooler now. :bash:
February 14th:
Called and left message: Received call back apologizing for the mess up. Cooler being shipped out today.
February 24th:
Cooler arrives. Appears used (small flecks of dirt/rust on it) Cooler appears to have a rail it can slide on to be mounted, but not included.
Not really ecstatic with the time it took or the condition of the cooler when I finally got it.

You guys that shipped Fed Ex, did the tracking always show that the package has been initiated but not picked up?

Cb called back, they are waiting on more resevoirs, should be in early next week. Thanks for the call =)

for some reason when I checked the tracking number online it only updated up to a few days after they shipped it.. I never saw it leave TN (online) but then it showed up like the next day lol.. so maybe fedex tracking is messed up?

Mine did. And than the day it shipped, it updated everything all within that day.

Chase Bays isnt exactly a new business/setup, i bought a honda wiring harness off him in 06ish...
I've always run into delays with any parts bought off him/them, but it all seems to show up eventually...

^^^ not sure what hes talking about, i had a great expirience with chase bays. i ordered their s13 sr20det power steering pressure hose. it was delivered in good time and the product was awesome... and the best aspect of the transaction...was the price... i will definatly buy from them again in the future

I ordered the power steering kit from them. On 3-10-2011.. This blows because I waited to order this kit, till they had all the components.. However every time I call to get my tracking number, something else went out of stock...worse part is car is scheduled for dyno this saturday, and I have no stock lines or these.. I was really looking forward too buying more things such as the brake line tuck kit...Hope this gets resolved in a timely manner.. I know next time if I decide to still buy from them, too order things 1-2 months in advance.....

3/26/11 Got my parts today, however didn't come with the cooler or rack too cooler line, waiting on that now.
Just got my parts from chase bays.
It took about 2 weeks to received the product, but I'm happy with the buy. Plus its not like I need a part ASAP so overall I'm satisfied.
The product seems to be of good quality too, can't wait to have the bmc delete installed.

ordered it march 25! got an email with a tracking number but all it shows is that information has been sent to fedex..

no ^^^ i didn't know they offered a rail... my rack to cooler line is to short and i had too flip the routing...... im just not satisfied

And customers should buy stuff constantly in a routine predictable manner. For a company to turn a profit and stay in business, they can't have too much stock.
Thanks for the info guys, I have been browsing this company. I never expect parts right away from anywhere. If you are into competition, you should order two of something so you have a personal stock. Professional race teams have parts on site.

Ordered brake lines and clutch line 5/10 finally got a email on 5/16 stating thier supplier was out of stock on certain items ( I had to contact them btw).
Got another email on 5/18 claiming my order will ship on the 18th. I got my tracking numbers on the 18th.
I've been tracking my order everyday since the 18th so far my package is still initiated. So I called chase bays spoke with a sales rep who claimed my item has been picked up. Called fedex spoke with a rep there and she claimed that her records show no pick was process and that pick up tags were only generated.
So no one know where's my package is at??? Another disappointing thing is my item was scheduled to ship 18th and est delivery date is 31 ??? Never had an item take that long to get to me even if I am in Hawaii. My body kit got to me faster and thats way bigger then some brake lines.
Also checked chase bays site and my order status is at processing ??
I thought I was ordering from a legit seller especially because they're a vendor on here.
Btw communication was great I was getting replies from tylor very quickly but now it seems that he doesn't want to reply to any email of mine

my ps kit came in after a little over a month everything fit good til i put ps fluid in it then started a bad leak from the cooler tried tightening the fittings 4 times before i just took it out so i wasted 100 bucks

Chase bays does it again, I send my reservior for exchange and arrives yesterday.
As soon as I get confirmation email I give them a call to let them know,[I forgot to put a note confirming name addy etc] and that I would pay to express ship the new one back to my place as Im in a rush.
Shipped it the very same day, should be getting it monday.
I will definitely be ordering again, customer service was fantastic!! :bigok:
