1989 Coupe with a KA24DE, motor runs very strong, small oil leak, it was put into the shell by me and wired up and inspected by the guys at Wrench Pro.

I bought the shell for 600, and dropped in the motor from a beat up 91 shell, from what i was told the engine had 130,xxx miles on it so id estimate that it has 135,xxx now.

The shell has some rust on the door seals as you can see in the picture, but that is the only place i can find rust. The car needs some love and im not gonna give it to her im expecting a child and i need to get rid of my 240 :/

im looking to get 1500 for the car and will not go less than 1000 so don't even offer low-ball me, im loosing money on this.

The car has not been registered since 2008 so its an estimated $500 bucks in registration fees, or just don't register it and beat it up on the track its ready for an RB25DET because that was the motor that was in it b4 the KA, the car has no welded diff its all stock the e brake cables are flawless and the cars overall appearance is nice, i don't see many 240's with this clean of a shell.

The paint is fading on the top of the car, the carpet and seats have no rips but some stains on the front seats, and the back seats are mint, there is no seat belts in this car, the door panels are pretty ugly but that's nothing major and i have all the interior pieces inside the car, the battery is sitting on the passengers side because i do not have a battery relocation kit to run it to the back, also this car has a wire-tuck in the engine bay and it looks pretty clean, the speedometer and revs on the dash do not work but the gas gauge does, all the brake lights and headlights work but no blinkers.

UPDATE
I forgot to add that the tranny is great, no grinds or anything like that i used Redline MT-90 which i ordered from frsports.com, and the clutch and brakes were blead by the guys at wrench pro. Also i put coils on the frond end, and the suspention went out of whack so im going to install the oem shocks that it came with.
Also, there is a noise from the left front wheel when i turn left, i beleive the hub is bent.

what's the chasis mileage? Would this be capable of a daily driver/project car? Does it break down? I'd do 1500 but the registration fee is ridiculous, I may be up for 1k. Hit me back..

The price is negotiable, and yes the registration fee is ridiculous, and I dont have time for this car, its capable of daily driving, it drives great but it does need new RUCA's and tention rods because the steering is messed up, i acually drove the car today though its drivable.

Interested! What's the lowest you'll go if you take off the wheels and some other stuff that isn't really necessary? Also, so you said that the steering is off? Like how? No seat belts? Do you have any so it can be driven back to wherever? I'd like more details. LMK asap

Thanks
