I am not to adept with mechanics of a car but... Can drifting cause the frame of the car to bend of twist after prolonged periods of time?

YES
BUT prolonged? NO
haha
after a while you'll notice body parts dont fit the same
things squeek and dont line up right. things rattle
chassis will be bent or tweaked for sure (in short time and over long time)
i have friends who get the alignment to spec but the car still pulls to left/right :p
mien does the same and ive been drifting only 1 year. d'oooh

Almost forgot one more question. Can drifting with a neg. camber do any damage to the suspension in the rear?

i guess thats how you quote ..oh is there anything you can do like reinforcing bars that could prevent that?

hit the "quote" button at lower right next to reply
bars make the chassis twist/bend more.
more stress on the chassis
like stiff suspension will abuse it too

drifting can cause lots of body problems.... even more so when you hit things...
In 2 years i have taken out 3 fenders, hood, bumper, rear quarterpanel, door, gas cap thingy, and bent my frame to the point where no matter how many times I align it, it goes back to pulling right in a few days....
and thats just BODY stuff, you should see all the stuff I have broken or gone though thats not body stuff...
if you worry about your car, dont drift...

"bars make the chassis twist/bend more"
But only in the points not braced. Otherwise bracing would be quite counterproductive, no?
If you have $ and are really umm, something, get a full cage build tieing into your front and rear shock towers and you shouldn't have any problems :D Nothing before or after the shock towers matters anyway...
