What are you talking about... I'm going and will be in the show... just figure this will be the best way since my car got hit in the parking lot by an idiot at D1... I can make it in 6 hours or less!!! :D

sure buddy..maybe at like 9pm - 3am...if you hit even a touch of LA or SD traffic you are screwed...and yes, i do know it's possible because i have made it to LA from Santa Cruz in 4 hours...and LA to SD in under 2 hours..it's just not a guarantee...

and i don't show my car...so that's not a reason to go...and the miles just arn't worth it..i'll wait for somethin closer..:)

Hmmm more like 12am-6am... I' actually got their under 6 hours... but didn't look at the time... just passed out when I got home LOL! I do it quite often :D I'm going to slow down now though cuz no more super nice ride with my Comp2R's...

Last time we all met at Speed Alliance. That seemed to work well. If Chris says its ok to use the front of his shop for the meeting place I think that it would work well.

Considering how early this event starts, and what a nightmare it was to get in the gates @ D1 ( pre-bought tickets ) we should leave really early. I say on the road no later 9:30 am, so every one would need to plan on showing up by no later than 9:15am.

What do you people think?

I just called Mainstream Productions, the company putting on the event to ask about getting into the event. Anyone who pre-bought tickets for D1 will tell you how crappy it was to have to wait so long while anyone who just showed up for the event got in easily.
The guy I talked too didn't seem to realize that the ticket issue at D1 was far from ideal, but he did seem to think that everyting was going to go well based on the drift showoff in March. I was not at that event. Can anyone share their experinces getting into the event?

Ok sounds good so far, I will ask [email protected] if its cool we meet there again, I see him everyday and dont see nay problems with the idea. gettin into the march drift showoff wasnt bad, but not great, everyone swarmed the line and we got there an hour early and still had to wait 45 mins or so in line. they were very unorganized, but maybe better this time??
