Got my wiring harness done professionally and consult hooked up, sensors calibrated etc.
But the shop that did my harness believes my CAS is off a tooth..
...since to get it to idle halfway decent the mounting holes on the cas arent anywhere near the holes the bolts screw into.
Timing chain is DEAD on, thats been verified.
anyway it idles fine, but trying to rev it, it does absolutely nothing, as if the throttle body wasnt even opening. And also if i let it idle, it sounds like the turbos spooling at idle and the manifold glows red hot. Ideas?

Unplugging the MAF makes the car sputter a quick second and then idle normally. But still wont allow it to rev. :( I need to get this car back up and running! and yes i have searched...for about a week actually, via google, nico, zilvia etc.

Any help would be much appreciated.
Fixing my problem could get you a few bucks via paypal!!

If they believe the CAS is off a tooth, why don't you correct it, and get it in the right position, and then continue troubleshooting?

Eliminate known problems first...

i definately plan on redoing it. just wondering if that would cause absolutely no throttle response and for the turbo mani to glow red :ugh:

If the timing is off to the point where you have to rotate it past the bolt holes, I'd definitely say it's an issue and might be causing that. No throttle response can be either way too far advanced or way too far retarded. Do you have a timing light?

Fix it before you blow something up.

I would definitly cause the problems you are having. If it is crazy advanced than you will notice higher exhaust temps and no throttle response because your valves are open at all the wrong times...

Its a simple fix...takes maybe 20 minutes to do
