Possible head gasket problems

I believe my KA DOHC is begining to show signs of a faulty head gasket, everytime i start the car is shoots out a decent amount of water, but im not overheating when i drive. could this be my head gasket

and

in replacing my headgasket does anyone have any recommendations on any headgaskets besides nissan oem? im planning on going ka-t by the end of the year and im wondering if an oem headgasket will be sufficient if your boosting 10 lbs or less

Felpro gasket will be fine if you aren't wanting 350+ hp.

Sounds like you have a bad head gasket, nothing else would really cause what you are saying, but do a compression test for sure.

Where does the water come from? Also if the radiator hoses get rock hard, and you can't squeeze them when they are still cold, definitely HG problem. If you have a large yellow funnel that attaches to the radiator cap, use that are see if there are any small bubbles that rise when the car is running, the level will rise to a certain amount, and then bubbles will start to come, if it rises and overflows from the yellow funnel, HG is severley blown. Small bubbles = minor leak that needs to be fixed.

iIt's a sweet smell in the exhaust? Cause it is colder outside in the morning, and white fluffy clouds out the exhaust is quite normal this season on start up. Also water does come out the exhaust sometimes, its just condensation from the combustion process. I hate to tell you to sniff your exhaust but if you know what coolant smells like, see if you can smell it in the exhaust gas. Just don't put your face directly in the pipe, just use your hand and wiff some to your nose. If it's not sweet smelling and sugary like coolant, its normal.
