i own a 1993 240sx SE Coupe and i cant get the car past 5k rpm in 5th gear, which wit the LSD i have is only about 105mph. Does anyone know how to disable the limiter and governor?

the pricey way to fix it could be a AEM standalone ecu? or im guessing you could get your stock ecu chipped. my old ecu was chipped and i had a tune which rev limiter/speed governer were removed.

Automatic ecu, or removing the fourth and fifth gear sensors from the transmission.

the only thing that sucks with an auto ecu is you will get an irregular idle from time to time

There's an easier way to do this. There is a pin you can take out of the ECU harness. It's done on my car and work flawlessly. The problem here is that you'll have to wait for it to stop raining so I can double check which one it is.

I've taken my 93 base model beyond 110...where the needle can't go anymore...ahaha

i know that the speed limiter is the yellow/green wire on the ecu.
the only way to get rid of the 5th gear rev limit (that i have heard, but not personaly done) besides the ecu flash, is to unplug one of the connectors on the tranny. im not sure which one but it shouldnt be too hard to figure it out through trial and error by free revving in 5th gear

There is a youtube video somewhere that shows you how to remove the speed limiter by just cutting a single wire on the ecu.

I wouldnt advise removing the transmission sensor or rev limiter though...It just sounds like a bad idea to me haha. And besides, why would you want to go over 115 on your stock KA anyways?
