Sorry for the newbie question :duh:
I DID read the http://zilvia.net/f/motorsports-skilled-driving/237493-tire-psi-drifting.html thread but I saw that each car/surface/outside temp can differ.
So here is what I have. S13 W/SR20 Blacktop @275whp/270tq
Federal 595's on front and rear 215/xx/17 up front and 235/40/17 on rear.
I am going to Balcony at Willow Springs and it will be anywhere from 50-60* outside the entire day (dry).
What pressure cold/hot should I run my front and rears?
Thanks for any help, it is much appreciated!:l101:

You're going to hafta test and play with them yourself in order to know. Start with 35 and go from there.

I don't have the ability to add air at the track unfortunately. So when you say start at 35 will I be looking to add or take away pressure as the "go from there?"

Willow doesn't have any sort of shop air in the pits? THat's so odd...no one to borrow air from either?
Hard to say. I say 35psi as a nice base setting. You'll hafta see tire temps and wear to know which way to go.
I ran Federal 595 RSR once and they liked 32-35 psi.

Willow does have a tire shop and u can use the air any time...
i say, start with about 40-45 cold in the rear and move it down as you feel/progress throughout the day... you probably won't need that much with an sr.. i'm just used to a lot of tire pressure since i'm ka...
32-35 cold should be good for the fronts

Ahhh if he's drifting then I have zero clue as to tire pressures. I just assumed HPDE hahah.

Yes they do have a tire shop.
I run your exact tire setup haha except i run dz101's in the front.
i run 30 cold in the front.
I've been playing with the rear pressure lately, i have quite a bit of shit done to the rear suspension for forward grip sothis might differ...
I used to spin the tires like cake and have no forward grip at like 32 cold with 205 HP.
Now I am running the tires at like 42 psi.
My opinion, start with 40 in the rear and adjust from there, but in the end, i think you will end up in the lower 30s with 275 hp

yeah, thats small of a track and that much HP, You could run stock pressure all day.
I ran for 2 years with 16's in that tire size on a SOHC.

I have 300whp and I run AD07 235/40/17 32psi hot up front and 595 255/35/18 36 psi hot out back.
Start with fronts at 32 psi and rears at 35psi and bring them down to temp after a few runs. You should go 235's up front next time.

remember tire psi will change 1 psi for every 10 Degrees of ambient temp.
the colder the lower and hotter= higher.
