Halman is a solid choice, anything not made in China or a cheap Ebay knockoff is probably going to function as advertised, just when you say "won't fuck up and shit". I feel like I need to reinforce that with a manual boost controller you are going to see different boost levels fairly often, don't expect a solid boost number all the time etc. It's gonna spike it's gonna go up and down dependent on the temps outside and a bunch of other shit.

I'm running a Hallman. I haven't had it in for very long since the weather went to crap, but I have been happy with it! I think Broadfield runs a Turbo XS one on his setup if I am not mistaken...

I have a TurboXS brand new in box, never been used.

Turbo XS - WRX, STi, EVO SRT4, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Turbo, Turbocharged (http://turboxs.com/shop_prod.php?what_category=1)

first one on that link.

i'll do $60 shipped to your door.

You're in Arkansas too, meaning I could get it to you in a day or two max.

just to add, i caught a hell of a deal on an electric one, so that why i opted to never use this one. I had this exact model on my corolla, scooby, and s12. All 3 never gave me a lick of problems (hence why I bought a total of 4 of them now) haha

I've heard of manual boost controllers can cause boost to fluctuate under high loads. Anybody ever experience this?

a boost controller is a VALVE. that's ALL it is. nothing more, nothing less. So depending on the QUALITY of the VALVE, the higher boost pressure isn't any different. a garbage eGay valve may not work under higher loads because they are nothing more than a cheap spring with a ballbearing on the end, they aren't seated precisely, nor are the springs made to any spec worth bragging about, so you'll have inconsistency and "fluctuation" under higher loads.

Ah yes, so all it really comes down to is quality. Good stuff
