Okay, after doing a couple hours of searching on this site and FA, Ive found out the following... The APEXi WS coilovers are relatively reliable, but a few people have had problems with them breaking, associated with not removing a spacer that the japanese only instructions say must be removed. They are also not rebuildable, and Apexi hasn't been too helpful with warranty issues.
The Tanabe's I can't find much info on, other than what the website says, no real feedback on them.
These two coilovers seem basicaly the same to me, they are height adjustable, but no adjustment for the struts. The Tanabe's, while not rebuildable, can be swapped out with Tanabe for a new unit, for a fee of course.
I just plan to use these for the street. I REALLY need new suspension, the car had at least two blown struts when I bought it, and it seems like a third is on its way out, making the car slightly dangerous to drive on the freeway. I plan on getting the TEIN flex's eventually, but I need something NOW, and I can't pay for the TEIN's right now, but I must have new suspension. I plan on taking the car to the track, but not until next year. I just need something to get me by for now, thats going to perform well.
I can get both of these for about the same price, even though the APEXi's retail for more.
I would like everyones opinions on both of these, both negative and positive welcomed. thanks in advance. ;)

If you just need something right now.. get some KYB GR2's.

Have you looked at the tein basics? Decent spring rate and rebuildable... and CHEAP!
