Ok so during the aftermath of 6.5 liter diesel turbo install madness, I got this really neat idea...

I know usually this ends up in the realm of rice land but I was thinking of making some DIY parts out of my 1 bedroom apartment, and with the help of the CNC foam machine thing, and laser cutting stuff at school...

So I was fielding ideas, of parts to make that any idiot(me) could make...

So far the list includedes~
-radiator diffuser plate thing
-front diffuser/california driveway protector
-chassis bars (middle bar thing, front to back floor bar, rear cage)

Fiberglass don't look so bad, nor does CF... the bars LOOK easy enough to make, just how the bends get in them confuses me...

Still fielding ideas for simple creations...

So whos up for some homemade aftermarket experiments?

yeah... you can make a lot of home made stuff with hardware store products as well, without CNC machining or fiberglass: like brake ducts, cold air intakes, intercooler piping, chin spoilers, motor mounts, tranny mount, polyurethane filled bushings, boost controllers, battery relocation kits, and probably a lot more.

I'm working on getting deeper into home made stuff that actually looks better and retains funcionality... but that's top secret untill the next racing season :p
