so i installed the z32 tranny in my s14, mazworx said i wouldn't need the speedo recalibrator but turns out i do. now i have an s13 engine so i don't know if that changes anything. my question is instead of ordering the recalibrator from maxworx would a different year 300zx speedo sensor work?

i know as for s13 and s14 sensors they are different. the s13 tranny speed sensor sends double the voltage to the speedometer so in turn it reads double the speed. where the s14 one is the correct one, and will work both in the KA and SR trannys of any year. is there any different speedo sensor for the z32 tranny or are they all equal?

i believe you need the N/A speed sensor. N/A z32's use the same gearing at the diff as stock 240sx's

alright, so the N/A one should give half the voltage as the TT one? i'll look into prices on them compared to the recalibrator.
