a usdm 240sx hatchback with a s13 silvia front end, japanese taillights and a ca18det engine?

Or a usdm s14 240sx with 180sx front end with a rb25det engine?

can anyone think of any other complicated ones?:D

They're both called 240sx's. Check the registration.

But because this is supposed to be a funny post, I would call the first one a sileighty and the second one a onevia. Simple as that. And the term sil80 makes more sense in this case because the car actually has a 1.8 in it which goes along with the "80" part of sil80.

A "look at me, I have as much JDM cr-ap as possible" 240sx

Or a usdm s14 240sx with 180sx front end with a rb25det engine?

A bastardized, waste of money for no performance increase (the 180sx front) 240sx

Either way, you're driving a 240, what's wrong with just being happy with that?

uh:ugh: that wasnt really the piont of the post. Just all the options and names are kinda funny. No other car you can really do that with.

I don't understand this post, but since when is a stock factory car a "complicated car" a usdm 240sx hatch back, with a silvia front end, came from the factory! and as far as japanese tail lights? are you talking about the stock 180sx Type X tailights? the circular ones? either i'm confused or something isn't making snese.

You know, all this jdm stuff really annoys me pretty badly.
sil1580, s14.5, koickou, zekini, squash, bla bla bla bla bla...

You know what I'd call those cars?

the first one would be a 240sx hatchback with a s13 silvia front end, japanese taillights and a ca18det engine.

And the 2nd on would be a s14 240sx with 180sx front end with a rb25det engine.

Nothing more, nothing less :bash:

Call them by chassis codes, or the REAL name from whatever country you are in...forget all that other BS.

You know have a zekini s14, you have a 95 s14 or a 96 240sx, regardless of what you have done to it.

What is everybodies obesession with JDM tyte names?

BTW, I realize this post was just for fun but it seemed like a good place to vent

yea i agree with you dave. who goes around and says i drive a sil2480sx or i drive a sil80. only ricers say they drive a sil80. we should just call it their chasis name or name from the factory. 'i drive a 240sx/s13'

I dont know for those cars, but most 240sx's with silvia parts I call a sil40. it could be the engine or a front end conversion, I still call it a sil40. its my term.
