Not your ordinary stuck bolt. On the right flange of my exhaust manifold there is no bolts in it. My exhaust manifold is only connected by the left side flange. One of the previous owners broke off each bolt into the motor, all for of em, gone. Don't ask me how he/she/it achieved it but it was done. All I know is there is a major exhaust leak. But it only putters out of one of the bolt holes and I temporarily fixxed this by JB welding a quarter over the bolt hole the exhaust air is spewing out of. But I am looking for a less-macgyver, more permenant solution.

Any ideas?

drill out and retap or use helacoil kit.

I'm not sure how long JB Weld will stand to the high temperatures.

what he ^^ said, but also some liquid wrench or wd-40 should help too. previous owner probably broke them off because they were rusted as hell and couldn't nudge it. applied too much torque and snapped the bolt heads. i dont know why they would do it 4 times though..
