so ive searched and found similar things to my problem but not quite like mine. So i was driving then made a stop but as soon as i had to take off ,my clutch pedal just stayed stuck to the floor so i had to pick it up with my foot and slowly give it gas to move out of oncoming traffic .. so while my car is still on i checked for any brake fluid leaks i checked my clutch master cylinder if it was full everything was good and then i shifted all the gears without the clutch and it just stayed on so im like wtf this has me stumped ... ps its a 91 240sx KA, clutch dampner removed, stock clutch . I hope someone has any input on this :bash: ima keep searchin tho thanks :aw:

Well it looks like there's no pressure.. Try to bleed it.

If you bled it, and you have no leaks, it could be either your pressure plate or that fork thingy that holds the throwout bearing.
I've had each of those fail on my old S14 back in the days.

what if my MC or SC just died and the car is stuck being disengaged thats the reason why my car can go into any gear without pressing the clutch i doubt its the pressur plate or fork i didnt even hear noises i just heard my pedal

My 95 s14 does the same..but its only sometimes and there are no leaks...

mine does it too. i bleed it and its good for a while then it gets worse and stays down and i have to pump it really fast to get some pressure back lol.
just cause you lose pressure dont mean its going to leak...fluid stays in, air comes in. its either a bad master or slave.

Quick question...this just happened to me n i tnought i should share it..
I was driving back home from my fams house n something felt strange on my brakes. So i decide to test em (hard stops) and just the front brakes were locking. So i raise the car from behind on the jack and got in it and put in in gear and accelerated n pressed the brakes and they were taking forever to slowdown. In other
words my rear brakes are barely braking...
I have the base model no ABS new pads and new brake MC.
Can anyone sorta help me out on this. Again sorry for thread jacking just needed to share it with someone quick
Before you go an buy parts first check your clutch master cylinder for any leaks.look around the top portion of your clutch pedal.if its leaking then replace it an bleed your system.then check your slave cylider for any leaks again. squeeze the rubber booth on the slave if it leaks then your slave is going bad it starts to get stuck.when you replace whatever was f.up bleed it the system..im pretty sure its the slave cylinder.but just double check before buying.GL

well man this similar problem happened to my brother...it turned out that the shaft where the throughout bearing of the clutch slides on.. snapped off of the transmission which then caused the clutch fork and bearing to float freely and drop the clutch pedal to the floor...i hope this didnt happen to you bro but well yeah..we had to take off the part off of an extra tranny we had..good luck bro

well when i was down there i couldnt that shit was so stiff not even with two hands, when i put the slave in the fork thingy and i bled the system lil by lil it started moving but it was with the pressure from the hydraulic system, so if it doesent move by hand whats do you think it is ?

well i got a new exedy stage 1 clutch disc only do you guys think i can reuse my pressure plate, resurface my old my flywheel, and just replace the bearings and the fork??? i know its better to put everything new but ima do a swap soon and dont want to invest good $ on something ima take out i wanna do my swap correctly with new parts so do you think its okay to resuse some old things but replace the necessary componets

You're going to have to drop the tranny pretty much no matter what, since you've replaced all hydraulics. And reusing pressure plate and flywheel all depends on condition. It's always better to just replace everything, but not everyone can afford it. If you're going to be swapping soon, I'd say just resurface the flywheel and reuse PP... Assuming neither of them are messed up.

you can't use the Z32 Clutch Master Cylinder, they are different bolt pattern on the Firewall.

Get under the car while someone presses the clutch pedal and see if there is movement. I have seen the pivot bolt that the clutch fork sits on break.

Haha yeah bro..and well I know your not planning to build this engine..but when you do get your sr or whattever yourgonna build bro I always recomend to get the nismo pillowball pivot thingy haha not sure what its called but yeah man the thing the fork pivots on haha..trust me your foot will thank you in thelong run haha cause those stage three clutched become a pain and with that pivot thing from nismo it will make you feel as if you have a stage one clutch..unless your a mesachist like me that kinda likes the feel of a stiff clutch but yeah haha just alittle piece of advice haha

thanks well i got my clutch installed today its better now but the pedal feel is softer than before and i asked him and he said if its too stiff it will wear out the clutch more, so im like fuk it ill do it myself when i get back home but i need a partner ;/

Def want to make sure you check the master as well (if no one ever said this)... I thought mine was the slave, but I looked on my driver side and saw fluid had leaked on my carpet... switched it out with an s14 one and now its better.

even tho i bled the lines contless times yesterday the pedal feel was still soft i have my dampner thing bypassed but i think its the clutch master cylinder from autozone that are weak and soft also the slave what other clutch cylinders can we uses instead of s13 ones?

funny...when i first started reading this thread i rememberd on my first s13 daily driver how my clutch pedal stuck to the floor but the clutch was engaged so i literally tied a string to the pedal to pull it up for a few days because i delivered pizza with the car lmfao. but yeah when i did my investigation it turned out to just me the clutch master cylinder and when i replaced it i didnt have any other problems funny how you had almost the same symptoms but a totally different problem.

Haha yeah man if its not one thing..its another haha the reason I knew it wasn't gonna be the slave or the master was because he wasn't geting any engagement of the clutch..as oppossed to your case haha but that's a good story haha effin 240's haha gotta love em.
