I want to order my Volk rims, but they place only has 40 offset for the 17x8.5 rims. I want to get 10mm spacers for them, but H&R has either 5mm or 15mm, not 10mm. Any ideas? Also, option auto sells the H&R's, but do they sell them as a set of 4, or a pair of 2? Project Silvia has 10mm wheel spacers, but they do not look hubcentric... anyone have experience with them? Get any vibrations? Thanks in advance. ;)

When I talked to Fred, he said he could make them just hubcentric, or both hubcentric and wheelcentric. What do we need?

its not what do you need, its what do you WANT.

hub centric: when the inside bore of the spacer is the same size as the hub, that way, when you put the spacer on the hub.. it goes through the lug holes and rests ON the hub.

wheel centric: when there is an additional ridge machined into the spacer for the wheel to sit on, the bore diameter varies from wheel to wheel (betweeen make and manufacturers), so be sure to have this all measured before you get spacers machined.

Fred knows his shiet and makes stuff to spec.. so if you dont know what you need, you better not buy from him. You're better off running 10 dollar crap spacers that give you balancing issues, that way you learn what you need.. :) But hey, thats what I did many years ago.. and thats why I bought those spacers from Fred like, 2 years ago. Live in learn baby! hehe

Hmm... I guess I'll have to wait till I get my wheels to take the measurement... :(
