SR20det Thrust washer install Help!!!

hey guys im doing main bearing as we speak on a red top sr20det. im looking at the fsm and its not super clear where to put the trust washers. they only fit in two areas so im guessing thats where they go. can anyone confirm. i put one on the back of main cap 2 and front of main 4.

second question how do the thrust washers stay in place it seams like they would fall out when i out it all together.
