i had them last year, I liked it ok, they didn't last as much as they claim to last... good deal for $48.00 each, i paid almost $80.00 each last year, which is what I paid this year for Pirelli P7000 Supersports, i read reviews and talked to some people and the Pirelli P7000 Supersport are even better all-season tires. The Avids had an allright grip even on the snow on 205/50/15.

positive: good looking, pretty good grip on dry, wet and even snow

negative: a little noisy, don't last as long as claimed

by the way: yokohama not yokahama

Pedro

I got a set last winter from Discount Tire mounted on a set of cheapie Enkei's as the Azenis Sports just weren't cutting it in the uber-crappy winter we had last year . They're not bad tires at all - they stick better than you'd expect most all seasons to and they slide really predictibly . Don't get me wrong , the 240 will always suck in the snow regardless but they made driving in the leftover slush a bunch less nerve wracking . I've got about 1500 miles on em and they still look 100% . $48 is a deal , I think mine in 225/16 were about $85 a pop .

They suck over all (if you are looking for a performance oriented tire)
good for daily driving. treadwear is decent..

yea there just for my every day driving nothing fancy. I figured they were a good price for decent tires. I got them today, and they look pretty nice. I 'll probably get em put on next week.
