I trying to return the oil to the block from my catch can. Wondering if anyone had any suggestion for me.

I have a built motor with a 3076 (25psi) and after 5 or 6 pass I have to dump my catch can. So hoping I can run a drain from the bottom of the catch can to the block somewhere.

I'd look into finding out the source of the bad blowby and perhaps even fixing the evap/pcv system at the same time. How is your car setup in regard to these aspects?

IN regard to a drain, I'd say the easiest way would be to somehow modify the oil dipstick tube for a small drain. However (as above) I'd sooner look at why it's pushing so much in the first place.

i've got hx35w pushing 23psi and 8000rpm...the oil only really comes on at higher rpms. what are the main causes of blow by?

My car's been running similar power, at similar boost, for 4 years, with tons of track time...blow by has NEVER been an issue. Follow the above link for some good setups (to include my setup) and slider's setup :D

Thanks for the advice guys. I thought that it was normal to have some oil in the catch can. Now I see in the link above that u r pretty much doing away with the issue and that's great. So im going to give that setup a shot.

Yea def man, blow by should never really be expected on these motors, aside from an oddball PCV/Evap setup, or a tired bottom end being pressurized.

Cheers!
