Hello :)
What should the diameter of a Water Temperature Sensor Hose Adapter be? (stock radiator, SR20DET; S14)
Please help, I've tried google and searching HERE but kept getting mixed results.
(my car is stocked for the winter in a far away place and when i'll finally get it back it'll be a bit too late to measure)

Unsure if you're looking for the OE radiator hose diamter, or the sensor thread pitch

Cart (http://ww9.aitsafe.com/cf/add.cfm?userid=B840327&product=Custom+Steel+H2O+Adapter+(Turbo+water+feed )+with+1/8+NPT+port&price=55.00)
Buy this: http://customsteel.com/sr20/assets/images/CS_H20_Small.jpg
Works better than the 'splice n dice' offerings, and gives you a true 'after head' temp reading.

Thank You for the advice/offer. But I live on the far end of europe, so the shipping prices make it irrational to buy from overseas...
1 7/8'
Don't hold me to it. Just what I can vaguely remember.

Finally fitted everything.
36mm water temperature sensor adaptor is too big for a stock s14 radiator hose. It is copper reinforced so it streches VERY little.
Haven't tried but 34mm adaptor may be fine. Yet since the hose is so twisted the above is the worst solution for fiting a sensor.
I ended up changing the hole upper radiator hose to a straight silicone hose and fiting the adaptor on it (I no longer have the SMIC and it's cold pipe)
Codyace was right. Using his recomended adaptor things would have look neater, the reading would be better and it would have been cheaper ;)
Hope this helps some newbie's avoid mistake's I've made. Cheers ;)
