Hello fellow motorists!

Well I'm undertaking a project that i have been contemplating for about two years now. It will stand out in most aspects. The only downfall is I do not care to mention the details of the swap yet, for fear of joining the ranks of the "talked about it but didn't do it" crowd.

The people I need to meet and chat with are:

a wiring guru: this is an unexplored swap for the most part, i have lots of info "on paper" but this will be the first time its been done....TMK

bodywork/fiberglass specialist, or someone with the proper know-how:
nothing extreme but i have a vision of a rear bumper that i would like to try to make...and maybe offer to the small community that drives the car in mention. and maybe an updated version of the existing front bumper and lip.

A roll-cage/body reinforcement person: Well this is just more for piece of mind. There are some crazy drivers where i live and lets face it, with this economy the car will probably be a DD, and we get some decent snow here.

and what might be last, but not least, a powder-coating person: I like color in my life and i want various little things in and on my car to reflect that. Again, nothing wild, just some small noticeable...and UN-noticed at first stuff.

so pm me, post here, email me if you'd like. I want to get an idea of what kind of budget this is going to take and what i can and cant do.
But please keep in mind I WANT TO KEEP THIS UNDER WRAPS UNTIL DONE!!
then ill be a pic whore afterword's

Just throwing this out there... I think you're talking about it but will end up not doing it. You didn't even say what chassis you're working with.

How about you start calling and prospecting to those particular businesses that you "need". Your project isnt the most special thing since sliced bread, and businesses arent going to come running in this thread trying to compete for your "project".

Just sayin'.

Post up how much money you are planning to spend.

thats strictly confidential. this project is going to BLOW MINDS, yet still be a daily with a roll cage because he plans to crash it in a snow storm

1st and last...you are trying to keep this under wraps...but you are posting on the biggest 240 website possible asking for help.

just saying...maybe you should search the threads, find out who does wiring, body work, ect...and pm them. ;D

Stop spilling your hater-aide in my thread!

If you don't know how to do the work I am asking for, then other to help, STFU

It'll be in a Nissan, not a common one.
As for budget: I'm looking at about 5-8k for the basics. That's swap, suspension, turbo, internals, cage, and maintenence.

@FCKillerBee: thanks for the help so far. I kinda know who does some of this stuff on the forum, but some of them have a lot on their plate ATM.
Yes, I k ow this is one of the biggest 240 forums on the net, that's why I posted here for help.

To the jackasses with the comments about my desire to keep it under wraps:
FUCK YOUR FACE, go post in the fitment thread!!!

If it's not a S or Z Chassis, then it doesn't belong in chat.

Since you refuse to state what your project is, and just expect our fine members to do the research for you and find you a build team for $8,000... FORGET IT.

Do you own research. Make your own connections.

That isn't done by starting a vague thread on an INTERNATIONAL forum, expecting people to flock to you.

I am putting a stop to this pan-handling of information, now.
