Exhaust!
I'm new to the 240SX. Which exhaust would you suggest. I plan on doing either the ca18det or the sr20det swap (which ever is least expensive) with in the next 6 months.

if you are serious about the swap, save up your money for it, if you want something now...CAI and exhaust...then treat yourself to red lobster...remember, no meat...

Myself I would get a Aexi N1 for cost and I just like the looks.
get down on a group buy for an Apexi N1 single, you can keep it for when you get your turbo...
get the sr...

if you want to modify it now, and you're gonna do a swap........for christ's sake do some supension work
the 240 wasn't made to go fast in a stright line, it was made to handle well, so why don't we utilize the capabilities it does have
just get a simple spring/shock combo, it will make a much much bigger performace difference than CAI/Cat back, and if you still do the swap you don't have to replace stuff you already bought
For info on your swap, check out Unstable-hybrids.com (http://www.unstable-hybrids.com/main.html)
I would suggest saveing up for the swap and doing other stuff later.
If you want something now, definately do suspension first. Like tnord said, good spring/shock combo. Then some sway bars and strut tower bars...it would handle like its on rails. Actually, if you did that you'd still have a good $700 towards your swap, exhaust, or some new tires.

Isay get stickers and chrome rims. You'll be hella fast then..................4 real though do the suspension right and then do the swap. It takes discipline to not buy things until you've saved for the swap but I'm betting that once you've swapped(or turboed hehe) you will appreciate the wait.
Thanks for the suggestions. A lot of ya'll say turbo the ka but my ka is sohc. Are there anyone on here that has turboed a sohc ka with good results. Thanks

It's been done with good results. There are a bunch of links out there. http://hmpracing.hypermart.net/240sx/ is one of them. I'm sure someone else can give you a few more.

If you do want to do an exauhst I would suggest a apexi n1 dual with three inch pipe that way you can still use it after you do the swap or the turbo. I would personally save my money for the swap or work on the suspension though.
Thanks alot. I will go ahead and work on supension first and save up for force induction of some sort either motor swap or turbo kit.
