I tried searching for about 30 min before i decided to start a new thread,

i just got a 90 s13 with s14 sr20det swap in it, and the only thing wrong with it when i got it was i had to replace the maf plug and reground the ground wire. works fine.

until today. ive had it a few weeks, and then i started it up today after not driving it for 2 days and while it would crank it made a nasty sucking sound and then once it started i put it in reverse to back out the driveway and as i started to disengage the clutch normally it wanted to die so i had to rev it higher than normal and thats when i noticed light blue smoke pouring out of the exhaust.

i have no idea on this one, any help is much appreciated

Do you have a wideband? Sounds like its running real rich, are you using the SR MAF?

light blue smoke is burning oil. check the turbo for leaky seals, especially if its a T25.

driftking i am using the SR maf

nismo it has the T28, but the thing is, it stopped doing it. i let it warm up, and drove it for a few miles and stopped and never blew any more blue smoke

If it's a journal bearing t28 the seals may still be slowly going out. My t25 died slowly with those symptoms. Didn't noticeably smoke all the time but got worse and worse

i got a replacement t28 from one of my buddies who hooked me up, he upgraded the t28 on his s14 sr20det and let me have the old one. replaced it, everythings working fine.
