As per my research.....
If the dents are not near the area of the oil pickup, you should be ok. As long as the pickup has proper a proper and adequate sourcec of oil...it shouldnt be a problem. Your best bet would be to put it back and see how/where the pickup is in relation to the dents.
Btw, can someone tell me if the greddy oil pan is stronger than stock?

the greddy oil pan is cast.. it's "stronger", but instead of bending like the stock pan, it will crack if you bottom on something. Instant oil pressure loss.

that thing is all warped, how do you expect it to seal against the block? i wouldnt use it, just go with a new pan. you have a NICE motor, why knick it over something so stupid? its not like you DONT need an oil pan, you DO need an oilpan. what you DONT need, is a greddy oilpan.. because thats more expensive and kinda uncessary.. so just pickup a new OEM oilpan or get one thats used, but in ACTUAL good condition. This should cost less than a bill. Do this now, save a few thousand on a busted motor. We all know you're gonna drive hard once you get it working, so make sure it WORKS.

I'm not sure it is warped. It looks fine in the pics, but you'd have to see it in person to tell.

has anybody thought of makeing a new oil pan. cutting the stock ones bottom off and welding a new stainless steel pan on that sits about an half inch lower than stock with reinforcement where to oil pickup would be???
