installed my ti-c today and everything went smooth till i started the car and revved it some. went underneath to take a look and notice resonator is rattling against my rear sway bar(suspension techniques). then toward the back by the tow hook one of the hanger is rattling against the chassis. another thing im concerned about is how low it sits.......

luv it!

Get some Circuit Sport Hangers they are stronger so it should pull the exhaust up higher

Or just get some big Zip ties and wrap them around the rubber hanger and pull them tight

for the hanger right after the test pipe use the generic metal adj hangers.... Wrap the chassis side and exhaust side with some tight heater hose or something...... then use that hanger to tighten it up as much as you can. It also helps if you get the tranny brace.

But i dont remember mine hanging that low at all, thats pretty crazy. i think it might be your DP

i think its the old worn out rubber hangers thats causing the exhaust to hang down low. noticed the 3 back hangers are stretching so hopefully the new hangers will do the trick. if not then ill use the hose clamp method.

so i installed 4 of these circuit sport hangers alike frm ebay Blue Exhaust Hangers 12mm Universal Fitment Hanger - eBay (item 380289772076 end time Dec-15-10 22:07:57 PST) (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Blue-Exhaust-Hangers-12mm-Universal-Fitment-Hanger-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem588b096a2cQQitemZ38028 9772076QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccesso ries)
god damn their freakin hard to slip on.....had to unbolt everything and use all my strenght/vise to get them on. its worth it tho their stiff makes the whole exhuast system solid! although, it still sits low but noticed it went up a tad bit and my resonator still hits my sways.

is this how the resonator suppose to sit????or is it just mine??or is it maybe because its not meant for N/A KA???im thinking might be my swaybar too???

dont worry, you'll get an exhaust ticket in a short while which will give you plenty of time to figure out why it doesnt line up

There's no way Greddy designed it so that the resonator sits under the sway bar. Either the sway bar isn't in the same position as the stock one or there is something wrong with your exhaust/installation. Is your test pipe the same length as a stock cat?

Also, put a 3" cat on, running a test pipe is stupid.

this looks like it sits lower that my apexi gt spec....which is stupid low. i'm pretty convinced that custom is the only route to ensure decent ground clearance

I had one on my s14 and didnt run into any of those issues. Possibly your DP? What kind do you have?

x2 ... running this cat-back on my S14 currently and it has no issues with factory hangers, but i am using the OEM cat on a stock KA. im guessing your issue is with the rest of the exhaust, or the aftermarket suspension parts ...

however, the Ti-C does sit really low - im stock ride height right now so its not an issue, but with coilovers and any decent lowering it will probably need adjusting

im running obx header.
test pipe is same lenght as cat.

found out its my swaybar after all!!!swaybar does not have the bend like the oem sway.
