Is there any common definitive way to get an sr20 to pass an obd2 emissions test? The test where they hook up to your obd2 port and check your readiness codes? If so how is it done? Given that the obd2 ka24de ecu has been hacked and capable of being completely reprogrammed, has anyone tried swapping all the ka24de sensors over to an sr20? Reprogramming the ecu for the sr20 and retaining all the obd2 monitors? Just some thoughts. The only thing that might be "dicey" would be the ignition system, egr valve and temp sensor. Everything else is auxiliary to the engine i think. Just trying to come up with ideas on how to get one of these things to legitimately pass emissions in a non visual inspection state. Anyone have ideas or solutions please post!!! I'm shocked this isnt a completely solved issue by now. Especially since 90% of 240 owners want an sr in their car. Lets come up with a formula!
