a 17in with those similar specs\this year model go for about 2300 brand new from the Mac store.
A regular Macbook (non-pro) goes for 1k brand new and the biggest screen they come with is 13in.

1k obo is a GREAT deal, if not too low of a starting point.
I would put this on Ebay or craigslist dude.
