I tried searching the googles but I swear I can only find articles about condoms breaking..

Do polyurethane mounts "break-in" at all (soften up over time?)

I put them on my car and damn they are awesome, but the vibrations transmit everywhere, if it softened up a little I could live with it, but as it is now I'm not sure I can Daily Drive it.

They may soften slightly but you will still feel alot of the vibration. What kind did you get?

Circuit Sports cause I got them from mysr.com for $50 shipped.

Also there seems to be less play in my steering wheel now, just from replacing the motor mounts? WTF?

I'm pretty sure that was a pricing mistake they honored cause they had them listed at the same price as the transmission mount, and now they are listed at normal price $85 or something.

My old mounts were shot, but since I daily drive my 240sx I'm not sure I can stand it. Idle is ok, and driving is ok, but from like 900rpms-2000 rpms the car and steering wheel shake like crazy.

Those mounts are pretty stiff. Nismos are softer but more alot more expensive. You could always sell them. And get something else. You can even reinforce the stock mounts with windshield sealant from an auto parts store.

Advance Auto Parts: Window-Weld™ Super Fast Urethane - Black (10.5 fl. oz.) by 3M - Part 08609 (http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_Window-Weld&153;-Super-Fast-Urethane---Black-(10-5-fl--oz-)-3M_6012418-P_N3239_T|GRP2034____)

Use that and just clean the old mount really well and fill the ridges around the mounts with the urethane. Fill it in until the sides are all flat. Let them sit and cure a couple days and install. Works like a charm. I've used these on 2 different 240's. Much stiffer than stock but not harsh like some mounts.

you are experiencing vibration because Circuit sports mounts run a bolt straight through from side to side for mounting purposes. They will never quote soften up. The bolt is the reason.
Window weld is a cheap sketchy way out as well.

This is going to be shameless self promotion, lol I sell track tested Polyurethane engine mounts that have a long review thread in the tech section. click on the link in my sig.

Window weld is cheap, but why would it be sketchy? Lol if you do it well they even look good. I know they aren't as nice as the mount you make. To me sketchy means something that could fail causing a problem. But anyway yeah check out his mounts much better value than something like nismo.

That makes perfect sense actually.
