I am thining about getting the silvia bomex lip. I was looking at it and it looks like it could fit right on the zenki pumper, from the turn signals down it looks somewhat the same. Do you think it would fit. If it could fit i think it would looks SWEET.

Pic for those who dont know what it looks like:

I can get a used one for 100$s.

if oem s13 zenki lips fit on chuki and s13 silvia bumpers than why not the other way around? the bumper doesn't look wider. but dont take my word for it, im just making an assumption.

Thank you man, is their anyone else who would know if it would fit forsure, or would it need to be molded.

Well the silvia bumpers are somewhat pignosish in that boxy way. I guess you might as well try it, molding it on would be a nice clean way to put it on, but if it doesnt fit and you dont want to mold it, sell it on eBay.

Someone has to be a guinea pig.

If I had any clue what a ZENKI bumper was, I might be able to help.
Personally, I don't care where our cars came from, I enjoy using english to describe stuff unless ZENKI is an actual brand name :bash:

ZENKI - First generation S13 (US 240SX=1989-1990)

haha. dont have to give yourself such a big headache figuring these terms out.

anyways, you should be the guinea pig. im sure you can sell it off to someone with an s13 silvia front end if it didn't pan out. but it looks like it will work. molding it on will definitely work, but im not a big fan of molding things.

The lip looks nice, but isnt it fiberglass? since its bomex?

hmmm... if my lip was fiberglass I would have smashed it within 3 days of owning it. I hit a empty box on the freeway going like 70, the lip fell off, I ran it over (and so did some other cars) and later I just went back and picked it up. Just repainted and ziptied back on, good as new.

 urethane

I didnt mean it like that, but fiberglass just aint as strong as urethane or ABS plastic or other flexible/plastic materials. The lips looks great thoguh but if i have the lip on and drive it daily it wouldn't last long unless im very careful/

Because zenki lips are made of urethane and not FRP. When I ziptied my zenki lip on to my chuki bumper, I had to almost stretch it and flex it to fit. FRP may not like that.
