it does not matter the swap will work either way. Oh and you really do not need the lower harness on a s13 swap as the only things that really need to be hooked up are the reverse lights which you can run wires for.

I think they are interchangeable...?

S13 pedal does not have fire wall spacer, S14 pedals have the spacer built in. where the S13 has spacer spot welded on firewall. transmission does not have hole for the Crank position sensor which will trigger CEL, and finally Driveshaft is different.
