That Super Autobac just opened up here in stanton, I haven't been able to go there yet, and probably won't be able to for a while, did anyone go to the opening ceremony or has seen the inside? If so, how is it? Are the prices a rip off, do they have a huge selection?

i went there, wasn't too great to me.. i think the prices are a little high, they had some pro-kit springs for like $300, if i remember correctly pro-kits usually sell for $200 give or take, definately not $300 though.
but i do remember one worker saying they don't sell anything APC... so i guess thats a good thing.
*edit* i think thats considered garden grove too, not stanton...

i went there today and i was extremely disappointed nothing but honda parts. most of the floor models were for civics as far as for other cars you have to check the list if they carry it. and yes they do carry some apc products, i saw a key chain that had the apc logo im sure thats not the only apc product they sell. they did have some nice cars parked in the front like the 350z an ol school 240z and 2 evos. just my two cents.

i went today. they had some neat stuff there but a lot of the store was filled with little ricey trinkets.
some things i found that were neat
*HKS,Trust motor oil
*exhausts on the wall
*Work wheel section
*steering wheels
*project Mu pads and rotors.
prices seemed very steep.

Tell the general MGR. (and only that person)that drift is "in" and happens with Nissans..namely 240SX.
If they are azzwipes....go over their head with the phone.
You do no good bopping in there, posting..and not telling them what they could/should have. You owe it to them actually to support the cause.
Example...my local "super" grocery did not have a certain product that I always enjoyed from my home town. I told them about it...ordered it on line and showed it to them..Now..not only they carry it, but it stays sold out...
It is up to the consumer to "demand" and 'up to the supplier' to "get it ava."
Voice it, they would love to serve you if they only knew!? Now if the GM is an a hole, then simply go over his head. Say, There are xxx many 240's in different stages of builds...you should carry this and that.
Raise some hell, they listen.
Biz is about taking your money, if they are cutting out a segment due to ignorance, fix them and be pleased.

Okay no doubt, Bill is right on point. Voice your opinions to the general store manager. His name is Anthony. Let him know that the prices are steep in certain places. Don't bitch at them (be somewhat mature), but let them know that they need to price more competively. It's what you don't tell them, they will never know.
Doh boy when you were in the HP department, what car was the prokit springs for? I don't remember seeing a set for $300. I personally know that the 350z ones were approximately $259 I believe, so I dunno if it was springs for a more expensive car.
Well, just give it a little while, there's still kinks in the system that have to be worked out and more stuff to be added to the inventory (hopefully by request of the customers so let them know).
By the way, I'm in wheels/tires. Welcome to Super Autobacs, may I help you? :D

They are still hiring to fill in the part time positions, but I think you have to be 18. Try e-mailing the Human Resources Dept. Good luck.

yea me and my friend showed up opening day at around 530, and guess what? THEY WERE CLOSED!!!!! BOOOOOO!! so many people showed up after 5pm, and all they could do was peek in the windows and hope theyd open up. o well, they lost a lot of potential customers. i just dont know how you can close a store down at 5pm, when everyone is just getting off of work. one of the employees told us that theyd be closing at 5 for about a month, and then their regular closing time will be 7pm.

LOL I WAS JUST ABOUT TO SAY THAT.
the ones in japan are all about nissans and mini vans. they have a lot fo misc stuff, gagues and boost controllers and all that if u want specific parts u might have to order it they will order stuff for ya im sure.
they have a lot fo air freshiners and ricey stuff here in japan as well. in my eyes autobac`s like a auto zone but bigger with more a selection, it not a "hks store" or anything like that... but i have been in a jam and they have had my parts i needed a few times. just my 2 cents
also i agree with bill ask and u shall recieve..... late
