View Full Version : Is the Pitch and threadsPer-Inch on all coilover monotubes the same?

for anyone who know a lot about coilovers...

Im wonder if the TPI (threads per inch) and pitch (http://www.boltdepot.com/fastener-information/Measuring/TPIandPitch.aspx) are the same on most monotubes...

if so then these PBM monotubes could be slid into any used/blown jdm coils.

not sure how the dampening adjuster knob would work, (might be just fine) but its an interesting Idea.

ummmm No, they are not all the same

Every coil over thread pitch and size is different

im sure one or two might use the same but not all

Depends, I think the higher end brands would be different, then the cheap sets would be the same,maybe only some though.
