in case clarification is needed... the SOHC and DOHC trannies are the same, except for maybe some of the sensors.

especially when you're under the car... lifting the sumbish by your self is almost impossible.. use jacks

if i install a tranny by myself(with friends help when lifting it up to the jacks or something. How many car stands i would need to be safe. is this a fairly simple proces? If i get someone that knows waht he's doing? maybe done in a day?

should be done in a day if you are mechanically inclined. all it is lifting and aligning the tranny and bolts right up.

why don't we just do everything for you?
You know.. research for you, source parts for you, do the swap labor for you, wipe your ass for you, spoon feed you, etc.
It's fairly obvious that you're a lazyass and don't want to do anything for yourself. BTW, try reading your own thread. Dave (drift freaq) already mentioned that the swap is covered in the FAQ/Archive. That means that you should check there before asking more questions.
 x 11ty billion
Fuck. Be a man and learn how to do shit for yourself.

just get all the parts and go hit up ASP or BlackTrax's for 5SPD conversion if you don't know how to mess with nuts & bolts
