aiv delete?

Ok i dont know if this will effect anything on the car.I just recieved my order in the mail with a 91 intake and it didnt come with an adapter that has an attatchment for the aiv. Now as of now, i used the same hose and stuck the filter on somthing that kept it there good and tight and jb welded the hose to this spectre hose connecter and that to the new adapter that HAS the hole.

Now what im asking for the georgia folks who have emissions in their areas. Will removing the aiv entirely effect the whole emissions or will it have no effect at all? I want to be able to pass emissions without it if i have to remove it.

It only effects the emissions when the engine is cold.

so i should be good when its hot to pass emissions correct?

If you were able to pass with it, you should be able to pass without it.
