Ok so here's my situation. I have a 92 coupe with a redtop SR. It has the #63 ECU, stock 370cc injectors, stock maf and SKINNY O2 sensor. Im planning on doing a performace upgrade... 550cc injectors, Z32 maf, Warlboro, Adj fpr, Rom tuned Ecu. So I ordered an ecu from a guy and get an E5 ecu. So here's my concerns.

1. Ive read that the O2 sensors need to be changed to work properly. ( the guy that ran the ECU before me didnt even use an O2 sensor but I am currently running one) Is this true? Do I run the FAT O2 sensor?
2. Do I have to change any of my existing wiring in my harness at all for this to work? (O2 sensor, TPS, Maf (which im adding the Z32 pigtail anyway) Or is it plug and play since I'm running the stuff it's tuned for?

Ive read quite a bit on this across quite a few forums and these questions are the ones that stick out to me. It seems that the stuff everyone has posted on is for doing stock to stock tuning and I dont know if with a tuned ECU that there is a difference.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW?
Any input is appreciated.

Anyone? I am at a standstill until I know for sure.

62 to E5 = change out the skinny O2 to the fat O2, as well as swap around the wiring on the O2 sensor plug on the engine harness, and you're good to go.

I don't even remember what the wiring arrangement is on the O2 sensor anymore, but the power isn't in the middle like on the skinny O2, it's like on the outside or something.

the O2 sensor being skinny or fat will not effect it. Pinout for the ecu is the same. O2 Output is the same.

you plug in the ecu and go...

I thought this has been gone over before?

Skinny and fat O2s ground differently, as their heating elements are completely different material.

Anyway.

I doubt anyone cares about their O2 enough to give a shit about this anymore.

I actually do care about the O2 sensor hence the thread.
I do appreciate the input fellas. keep em coming.

Anybody have a wiring diagram for the fat 02 vs. the skinny?
