I got j30 hubs ready to send out the shop to get a new retainer clip groove machined in. But i read somewhere that the new ring groove should be cut .198 from the old groove.Make sense tho but i want to be 1000% sure
I know the s13 bearings are 2mm taller than the j30's bearings..

I done all the research just i want to be 100% sure

i did this unfurtunately dont have the specs. really good swap thou, really beefy and for a whole lot cheaper. Just remember that it doesnt have to be extremely precise, as long as it clears the bearing. It's just a security clip, will never see action unless something goes really bad.
