My speedometer is not working, can any body help!!

Hey zilvia members, my speedometer is acting up.
S14 blacktop
96 chassis
can somebody help find the wire that connects(if it is a wire that tells u the speed on the tack) when I'm driving and I hit u bump on the freeway the needle will just die on me. Then if I had anther bump it will start working again. I am assuming a loose cable? But don't know where it would be located.
Jjust need help identifying it! Ur help is always greatly appreciated!

It is a electronic Speedo, it sounds like your speed sensor is going out but if it is a lose wire then you speed sensor is located on the back passenger side of the transmission. It is about 2 in long and about 1in diameter round.
