So... I'm working on my electric fans wiring them to run earlier but shut off when the car is off.... when I pass the wire through the firewall the easiest way I can (through the heater hose valve actuator line). After determining the job could be done a lot better, I just tell myself "bah, i'll get to it when I get to the other wiring I've gotta do."

Then it hits... damn... there's a LOT of crap I need to work on.

So, unlike the "what mods do you plan on" thread, what is there that you just need to DO to your car but just haven't had time to get to??

For me:
wash my car
wash my engine bay
rewire the entire engine harness
rewire the accecories to the harness (my car is a base and i've added fogs, power door locks, power trunk release, etc. i'd LIKE to work that wiring to run with the stock harness so it isn't so messy)
re-route all my vacuum lines
install the oil and water temp gauges sitting in front of me
bang out the dents on the driver's side door
attach my front bumper better
......

your list is very long and I am sure you have more stuff still, but my list of to do things are:

change rear brake rotors( did that a couple of hours ago).
flush the radiator
realign my front bumber, which I don't think will get fixed because I think it is damaged.
get a leakdown test down on the engine to make sure everything is ready for turbocharging.
remove black strip all around the car
clean the inside of the car

Heh. Longer list than I thought.

Get an alignment
Chase down and repair the weird oscillating growl under the car. I think it's a wheel bearing from somewhere on the left side, but it was suggested by somebody that drove my car this past weekend that it might be a u-joint going out. Who knows?
Get tint. I can't take it anymore.
Get new tie rod ends before my stock ones fall apart
Finish connecting my Z e-brake lines
Replace the rear bumper cover and fix the big huge scratch down the driver's side quarter panel.
Chase down and replace the mysterious oil leak I've got. think I'll just replace the oil pump and seals and be done with it.

- wax car

- clean up wiring harness (loose unused ends, electrical tape, etc)
- new vacuum lines for BOV and wastegate actuator (more ideal lenghts)
- vacuum interior
- get all the random crap out of the interior :D
- get car inspected
- find out the occasional "grunch-grunch"ing noise that happens during some right-hand turns (wheel bearing? subframe bushing? halfshaft joint? with the car jacked up a few weeks ago i yanked pretty good on the wheel (tried to turn it on vertical axis and horizontal axis) but it didn't budge... which is good, it just makes diagnosis take longer :D)
- change oil (and oil filter)
- get a day job to pay Teh bills AND have some car money :D

long-term (by this time next month or so) to-do list:
- save up money for HPDE @ Carolina Motorsports Park
- buy good brake pads (and stainless lines) for said HPDE @ the "brake killer" track (seriously, if Porsche guys get brake fade there, I'm toast  )

1. install vlsd that's been sitting in my friend's garage for over a month.
2. tune up
3. install rear upper control arms
4. alignment

I wanna get pillowball tc rods, but I just got Whiteline poly bushings pressed into mine. I've had them for 2 months at most. These are off my S13, do you think someone would buy these for lets say 60 bucks pick up? Just a thought in case I want to replace them. This might not be for a while though.
