your best and cheapest options would be to go down to your local auto store and pick up a regular one for 5 or 6 bucks.

Cheapest way to get one would be to go to the junkyard and take one off a junked 240, and stick it in your pocket.

dousan don't get your panties in a twist, i know its pointless bling, i just wanted to see what it was and how much it was. I already tried to find a gas cap at our local pick and pull, I had no luck.

not having the gas cap is allowing the gas to evaporate and excape. am i right in assuming this?

You gotta love Aarons vibe.

Especially since you most likely knew where the other one came from.

Just giggling..no biggie...at least it was not the OIL CAP!

I think the f*cks that painted my car forgot to put in back when they were done painting my car. the place i got it done at is in sacramento, and i am too lazy to make the hour drive out there.

Actually, the Nissan OEM cap has a valve and spring inside it that regulate the amount of vacuum in the system. In fact, there is a test procedure shown in the FSM (it shows a dude sucking on the gas cap to make sure it opens up after a bit :D).

In short:

Get the OEM cap. I had to buy one because mine went bad...it was like $12 brand new.

But if you got the extra money go for the NISMO cap. I heard gas station whores get extremely wet even when they see the word NISMO.
